Miss Daisy
She has had a respray to her top!
Our mission was to refit Miss Daisy our 1968 VW Split Screen with
a classic but practical interior made from real wood. Unable to
locate a company that was able to do this, we decided to design
and make our own interior just for her!
Her old furniture was removed so that we could measure her! Then
we had to make the decision about designing a comfortable,
practical living space.
Here are a few pictures of her as she is at the moment... curtains to
finish, awaiting completion of seating/bedding not much to do now..
Rear facing seat with plenty of storage underneath, two electric
sockets with USB connection , portable electric cool box just below
the sockets.
Forward facing seat with plenty of storage underneath. This can be
extended to make a three quarter width bed. Storage cupboards
run alongside the bed to the rear of the Splitty.

The wood is lacquered to enhance its natural grain and give it
protection.

We are in the process of creating personalised door cards for her.
In the meantime we have a beautiful partial cover for the bulk head
(beside her cool box). We will add photos shortly...
Old Blu will be having a similar interior fitted this Autumn.
